Beharie

Deeply rooted in the indie/soul world, you'll find Beharie - a young old soul with a distinctive expression that deftly balances a search for identity with independence. With vulnerable vocals dipped in delicate harmonies, his music conveys a nerve that dares to be both vulnerable and persistent. Although still at the beginning of his career, Beharie has already managed to win a Norwegian Grammy Award ("Spellemann Award") with his second EP "Beharie // Beharie" (2021) and was nominated of the Swedish Gaffa Awards as "International Newcomer of the Year". 

The EP earned him international praise, with Wonderland saying, "It may be too early to crown EP of the year, but this is certainly one of our best contenders." Gaffa Records called Beharie the "cream of the crop" and compared him to Frank Ocean: "The similarities to Frank Ocean, both in voice and melodies, are so striking that it's tempting to look up Beharie's family tree. A great comparison, yes, but you have to go to that level to get an accurate picture of of the talents this man possesses."
