Cari Elise Fletcher, better known by her stage name. Fletcherembodies through and through a young, self-confident woman who consistently goes her own way. Whether as an actress or singer, in both fields she addresses the thoughts of young women between ex-boyfriends, self-confident feminism and the search for their own identity. And this with growing success: after first singles and her debut EP "Finding Fletcher" (2016), she achieved her first international success in 2019 with the rousing song "Undrunk" : number 16 in the US pop charts as well as chart positions in New Zealand, Canada, Ireland and other countries. Born and raised in New Jersey, Cari Elise Fletcher became intensely interested in two art forms at an early age: acting and making music. She has pursued both disciplines since her teens; she made her first film , "How Katie Howard Found Herself," for which she starred as Katie Howard, at age of 16. But despite this early entry into the film business, she then devoted herself more to music again - in two different ways: On the one hand, she enrolled at New York's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music to earn a degree in songwriting; on the other, she successfully participated in the first season of the U.S. edition of The X Factor. Between 2015 and 2016, " War Paint", " Live Young Die Free", "Avalanche " as well as "Wasted Youth " were her first singles, ultimately summarized on her debut EP "Finding Fletcher", with "War Paint" as the most successful of these singles rising to #1 on the Spotify Viral Charts. After that, she first finished her studies before writing more songs with some songwriters as well as Frank Ocean collaborator Malay. One of the first, "Undrunk," was a track about difficult ex-boyfriends as well as young women asserting themselves in times of the #MeToo debate.
