IST IST were founded at the end of 2014 and have built up an excellent reputation with their uncompromisingly intense live shows and distinctive DIY work ethic. Their debut album "Architecture", which they released on their own label Kind Violence Records in the midst of the pandemic, was a huge success in the indie and vinyl world. With their second album "The Art of Lying", which reached number 87 in the UK Top 100 at the end of 2021, they finally established themselves as one of the leading forces of a new era of music born in Manchester. The release was followed by a ten-date UK tour with sold-out Shows dates in Manchester, London and Bristol, among others, as well as a series of of sold-out European dates. In March 2023, the band released their highly anticipated third album "Protagonists".
