Jacob was born in Nigeria and moved to Birmingham, UK when he was 13. There he got to know music. At first he only sang for his friends, but they encouraged him to record his music professionally. Through John Mayer he gained the courage to deepen his music lyrically and share his feelings with the world. With influences from R&B, a little rock'n'roll, hip-hop and the power of pop, JACOB BANKS music defines itself. It's bound to be catchy. His music is constantly shaped from a variety of influences, allowing him to accompany people in different life situations. It is important to him that people can participate in his life through music. His career began with Open Mics and subsequent support with ALICIA KEYS and SAM SMITH. Now he will go on tour himself and in November with his 2022 Europe Tour he will make a stop in Berlin, Hamburg in Cologne .
