B Young

B Young is a singer, rapper and songwriter who hails from the Hackney neighborhood of East London. B Young spent several years teaching himself how to produce of music, from mixing and mastering his own records to video editing. He experiments with different sounds to develop his melodic rap and afrobeat/bashment crossover sound. In 2017, B Young had his first major successes with the tracks Cash Flow, Wanna Know (Remix), London Boy, Been Wavey and Jumanji, which became the hit that dominated the official charts and stayed in the top 20 for over 8 weeks. With a back-to-back approach, B Young responded with his track 079Me, which also successfully charted. Since then, B Young has stayed true to his DIY ways and continues to record, mix and edit his own videos in his bedroom studio. Through his own label, he has released singles such as Gucci Demon, Wine, and Want2, which have reached more than 30 million streams and views within a year. B Young has performed at over 400 Shows in his career to date and has amassed over 2 million single sales and over 300 million streams and views.
