D-Block Europe (DBE) is a British hip-hop collective from Lewisham, South East London, which was founded in 2014. The group consists of the rappers Young Adz, Dirtbike LB and Lil Pino. Formed from the merger of of Young Adz and Dirtbike LB, DBE owes its name to the block of flats in Lewisham where the members grew up. In 2017, they released their first singles "Love of the Money" and "Large Amounts" before making their breakthrough in 2018 with the mixtape "Any Minute Now" (with Yxng Bane). The hit "Gucci Mane" from this mixtape brought them nationwide attention. DBE's trap sound, which is mixed with elements of grime and US hip-hop, is characterized by aggressive flows, dark lyrics and catchy melodies. DBE quickly became one of the most successful hip-hop acts in the UK. Their mixtapes all reached the top 10 of the UK album charts and they won several awards, including the MOBO Award for "Best Newcomer" in 2019. In 2020, they released their debut album "The Blue Print: Us vs. Them", which went gold, followed by the mixtape "Home Alone 2" in 2021. DBE continues to tour and regularly releases new music. Young Adz, the rapper and songwriter, is the best-known member of DBE. Dirtbike LB, the rapper and producer, is responsible for the dark atmosphere of DBE's music. Lil Pino, the youngest of the bunch, is a talented rapper with a unique flow. D-Block Europe has taken the British hip-hop scene by storm and has become one of the most important players on the scene.
