Born and raised in Vancouver and homeschooled until his sophomore year, Alex Gumuchian aka BBNO$ has always had a knack for doing things differently. In 2014, after meeting a new friend during his first year of college, he and his friends formed a multimedia collective that shook up the local music and fashion scene. After the group disbanded, BBNO$ graduated with a degree in kinesiology from the prestigious University of British Columbia and honed his musical skills in his spare time. By 2017, he had already built an international fanbase and played his first-ever sold-out tour in China. Since then, the 24-year-old has solidified his legacy as one of hip-hop's most forward-thinking and innovative independent artists and shows no signs of slowing down. After finding hip-hop, he's been able to use his ingenuity to make a name for himself on the Soundcloud scene, foster a community of like-minded creatives, and build a long-standing artistic relationship with artist Yung Gravy and popular YouTube personalities.
